Hello lovelies!
First up, I’m so sorry for missing Thursday’s post! Life has been insanely hectic recently (schoolwork has been crazy!) and so I’ve decided that, just for the next 4 or 5 weeks, I’ll only be posting one day a week. Thank you for understanding 🙂
Second of all, today’s post is a recipe for Funfetti Sugar Cookies. These super simple and delicious cookies would be perfect for just about any occasion and can be easily changed up to suit different times of the year. I think they would be super cute for Easter 🙂
On to the recipe!
Serves: 30
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 12 minutes
Ingredients
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sprinkles/hundreds and thousands
Method:
- Preheat oven to 190°C and line 3 baking trays with baking paper. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients. Roll dough into balls, and place onto baking trays.
- Bake for 12 minutes. Let stand on cookie sheet two minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.
- Enjoy! 🙂
These look delicious and fun. I love sprinkles and incorporated into cookie dough, then baked – yummy! Sammie 😊
