Cute Valentine’s DIYs

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a good week, only one week till Valentine’s Day!

Cake-Pops_Sweet-Hearts

I recently saw some adorable valentines DIY ideas on Pinterest and thought I would share them with you all. These are perfect for cute dates or even just decorating the house to hang out with friends and family!

The first one can be found here: http://todayseverymom.com/2014/02/10/diy-valentine-decorations/

It’s a super simple and cute heart garland.

Sorry this pics a bit blurry!

To begin, take a standard piece of A4 card or paper in whatever colour you’d like, preferably pink, red or white. Fold the paper in half lengthways, then half again and then again. Then fold it over to create 16 2.5cm x 15cm (roughly 1 x 7.5 inches) rectangles. Cut each one out. This makes 7 hearts, so if you want more simply use more paper.

Take 4 of the rectangles and staple them together near the bottom. Fold the two outer pieces down and staple them together to create a heart.

Then staple another two to the bottom of the heart (one either side) and fold them down then staple. Continue this process and you have a very cute heart garland! The two rectangles at the top can be used to attach the garland to a wall/door/window etc.

The second DIY is this adorable heart tree. I found this here: http://www.moneyhipmamas.com/2014/01/cute-and-cheap-diy-valentines-day.html

All you need is small hearts (you can buy these in most craft stores, or make them yourself with pink/red card and a heart-shape puncher), twigs (get them out of your garden haha or a craft store) and some sort of vase.

Simply use a hot glue gun to glue the hearts to the twigs and arrange them in the vase. You could even personalise the hearts by adding messages!

I hope this gave a little bit of inspiration! I will see you all on Tuesday and Saturday (Valentine’s Day)! 🙂

By the way, what do you want to see after this series? I do have a few ideas but I want to know what you want to see 🙂 ❤

Have a sweet day!
